Bountiful Potatoes

Later in the evening, after the corn maze, the family came over to our house for a wiener roast. There was good food and interesting conversation. As they were preparing to leave we gave them a bag a tomatoes from the garden. Adrian thought we should check to see if there were any more that had ripened and next thing I know we’re digging up the potatoes! My Aunt certainly looked like she was enjoying herself. She mentioned that she hadn’t dug up potatoes from a garden since she was a child. It was lovely to see her having such fun. The potatoes were huge. Hopefully they taste as good as they look. We didn’t have a large crop so in a short time all of them were dug up. We have plenty and we sent a bag home each with my parents and my aunt and uncle.

About Debbie

I am a stay at home mom of 2 energetic children. I homeschool them as well. I have a great husband who, after 7 years of working away from, finally has a job where he is home every night. We are trying to learn how to live together again along with adjusting to the lower pay that came along with the job change.
