Dinner at Work

Adrian’s company hosts a family dinner once a month and we went last night. Adrian is new to the company so, it’s a great way to get to know the people he works with and their families. Every month, it seems, they have a different theme and the children always walk away with a goody bag. The first month we went it was a Mexican theme, in July it was Canada day, and, of course, this month it was a sit-down Thanksgiving dinner. The food was great and the conversation with the family at our table was entertaining. Our children are beginning to know other kids that come so, it’s a real comfortable setting. Looking forward to next time.

About Debbie

I am a stay at home mom of 2 energetic children. I homeschool them as well. I have a great husband who, after 7 years of working away from, finally has a job where he is home every night. We are trying to learn how to live together again along with adjusting to the lower pay that came along with the job change.

Did Adrian find work back down here?

  2. Debbie says:

Yes. He’s been here since May. It’s made such a difference to the family. We’re happy to have him home.

It is a big difference. I was gone for close to 7 years. It definitely made the family closer. Glad to hear it made a difference.

Super to see you had a great time! Sorry to miss the show! Hopefully next year 🙂

Of note, your “blog” site is very neat! I did not even know that these types of sites existed. Very cool. I have been surfing around it and checking it out. I have to say, I have learned alot more about you, Deb!
