1 cup low fat yogurt (raspberry/strawberry/whatever)
1-2 tbsp brown sugar (optional – I’m going to try honey since it’s supposed to be better for you. I find I need a little sweet to counter act the tartness of the berries)
2 tbsp Flax seed Meal (optional, but it’s a good source of fibre)
1 cup (about) of frozen strawberries
1/2 cup (about) of frozen blueberries
Sometimes I need to add a little 1% milk as I go so that it’s not too thick.
Blend it up and enjoy. My kids have been having this for breakfast lately.
Do you have a good smoothie recipe? I love ’em. I’d also like one that’s more on the citrus or mango side.
