Walkie Talkies

When ever we go to the neighbours for a visit they let the kids play with their walkie talkies. This time, on Saturday, he mentioned that he’d sell them to us if we were interested. $15.00 each. We asked the kids if they wanted to buy them using their money from their piggy banks. They were all for it. Adrian happened to have the cash on him, but as soon as we got home they took out their banks and counted out the money. They’re quite proud of their purchases, and like to remind us that if we want to use them we have to ask permission first. The first two nights, we could hear them talking to each other from their rooms. Their conversation was so adorable to listen to. Especially when they were saying goodnight and I love you to each other.

About Debbie

I am a stay at home mom of 2 energetic children. I homeschool them as well. I have a great husband who, after 7 years of working away from, finally has a job where he is home every night. We are trying to learn how to live together again along with adjusting to the lower pay that came along with the job change.
