Nature Video

I saw this incredible video on Free Range Learning. I just had to share. The people’s reaction in the background adds to the excitement. Amazing!!

Please note: It has a happy ending. 🙂

About Debbie

I am a stay at home mom of 2 energetic children. I homeschool them as well. I have a great husband who, after 7 years of working away from, finally has a job where he is home every night. Sorry Debbie, could only watch a bit of it – interesting listening to the folk on the bank though!!

  2. Debbie says:

It took my computer a little while to download the video. It IS worth it, though. 🙂

I watched it although almost changed it when i thought they were going to eat the baby calf. I was surprised that it got up and walked back into the rest of the buffalo though.

  4. Sirdar says:

That was pretty amazing. Dawn was telling me about it this afternoon. She watched it at Free Range Learning.

  5. Joy T. says:

Did the baby actually survive?? God I hate nature sometimes! I wasn’t going to even watch it because I just can’t stand to see things suffer like that, but came and read the comments first LOL What a pathetic soul I am.

So funny, someone emailed me this video about a week ago. It really is quite astounding. It would have been really something to actually witness it live. So many lessons to be learned from this one.

Managed to see all the way through now – and wow, that was amazing especially the lion been lifted high in the air.

Thanks for sharing here – an education in itself.

  8. Dawn says:

I watched it yesterday. I went to Free Range Learning from your site and watched it with some of the kids. I am not fond of nature shows and cringed through the whole thing. It was something to see though.

  9. Debbie says:

Terri – It was scary there for a couple of minutes. Poor little guy.

    Sirdar – Yes, it was.

Joy – I can relate! I read the comments over at Free Range Learning, too, so I knew that there would be a happy ending. I think I’ll add that notation to my post because I don’t think I would have watched it either.

Carla – I can’t imagine seeing something like that live!! I think I would’ve been crying.

Peter – Yes, the lion sure got shown who was boss that day. (although in a weird way I feel sorry for the lion, too)

Dawn – Nature can be hard to watch sometimes.

Great video,Debbie and really interesting to see.But it´s good to see this video at home in a sure chair…I would like not sitting there in the car with the camera!

    Have a nice weekend!

  11. Debbie says:

Steffi – I’m sure it would be a terrifying experience. You’re right, it’s definitely nice from the chair here at home.
