Walking with Dinosaurs

Yesterday we went to see the Walking with the Dinosaurs performance. It was pretty magnificent. It is amazing what they can do. These dinosaurs were life size! And the stage was gorgeous. The show took us through the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods. Starting off with the stage and a rock, then progressing to greenery, then to big beautiful blooming flowers.

The photos are grainy and out of focus because they were taken with my cell phone. 🙂 You can see the man, who played a paleontologist and served as narrator throughout, next to the brachiosauraus in the picture below.

And we had great seats – the eighth row from the front. So, when the brachiosauraus (or the Long Neck as J called it) came up close I had to crane my neck way up. Incredible.

Look in the background of this one with the T-Rex. You can see how huge it is compared to the audience.

These raptors were smaller, but still amazing.
