Miscellaneous 9813

Adrian bought the kids a couple of rockets each. They both wanted to paint them before they were launched. R, especially, took quite a bit of care when decorating his rocket. They launched them one day as I was racing off to work, so I don’t have a picture, but I wouldn’t have been able to take one anyway. They shot off so quickly and disappeared before I’d been able to press the shutter release button. And now the rockets are gone. It’s a shame because of the time they spent on them but they’ll be great treasure for someone to find.

About Debbie

I am a stay at home mom of 2 energetic children. I homeschool them as well. I have a great husband who, after 7 years of working away from, finally has a job where he is home every night. We are trying to learn how to live together again along with adjusting to the lower pay that came along with the job change.

Gone? As in blew up or caught on fire? Or just disappeared?

How wonderful the care in prepartion of the rockets – where ever they have landed – they will always retain – your children’s skill of artwork displayed.

Very nice work!your kids are really creative!

At least you have photos to remember, and it is not some more art work hanging around the house for you to organize and find a place for. Hey, where did he get those rockets? Never mind, my kids wouldn’t decorate them anyway.

Sirdar – LOL. I guess I DIDN”T say! They disappeared. Shot into the sky so fast we couldn’t even be very sure which direction they went.

POL and Steffi – Thanks. J always loves crafts while R isn’t always enthused about it. This time, though, he got right into it.

Dawn – You’re too right!! One less thing. 😀
