R and Adrian’s Trip

R and Adrian went on a 4 day hunting trip this past weekend. It was R’s first time out so Adrian took it pretty easy. They spent a lot of their time 4x4ing and hiking and even went canoing one day. They stayed at a camp that was ran by a guy that Adrian met last spring during his canoe certification course. The guy let them stay for free in a heated cabin complete with a kitchen and satellite tv. We don’t even have satellite at home!

The camp is about 2 1/2 hours away close to the mountains. It sounds like they had a wonderful time. Their pictures are below. Apparently R took many of them.

It took them over two hours to get out of this predicament.

It was R’s job to tell Adrian if the tires were spinning. Adrian’s looking a little frustrated at the end of this video. hee hee

R wanted to take pictures of the lilly pads he saw while in the canoe. I think he did a nice job.

What a fun trip! Great pictures!!! Loved the videos too!! Something similar happend to Jeremy and me when we were land hunting. We drove up on a road we shouldn’t have and someone had made a huge hole and covered it with brush and when we drove over it we fell in. We had quite the predictament and we ended up having to do something very similar to Adrian. We didn’t have any shovels, tools, nothing. We were also miles away and supposed to pick the kids up from friends at a certain time so they could do a special family birthday celebration. We were very late and very embarrassed!

That is so funny. Adrian did well to hold his tongue while the video was playing. It, otherwise looks like a great trip. They had wonderful accommodations. Ryan took some excellent photos.

I think R has found his calling. Beautiful job on the photos. Funny to watch Adrian get out scratching his head. heehee.

Sounds like an awesome trip. R did a great job with the camera. Funny though…I thought it was almost impossible to get a Range Rover stuck? Unless the driver isn’t….nah…couldn’t be 😆

Wow…I think you may have a budding photographer on your hands.

Amazing photo’s – every credit to ‘R’ for his genius as a photographer. Absolutely stunning scenery and the pond photo – impressive 🙂

As for the slight mishap – sure Adrian would have preferred to call out the AA or RAC – but determination came through in the end and all credit to him and the Range Rover of course 😉

I thought Adrian keep very calm during his predicament, my hubby would have been effing and blinding in that situation!

Spinning!! LOL love it! He sounds so cute on that video. What a great hubby you have there too, because I know if that was Gregg in the video….it would have to be marked R-rated for all the cursing going on.

Great pictures from R! I had to laugh at the first video though and the hubby did also. He made a few other comments but I won’t go into that…..he got his suburban in a 5 foot ditch and it took 8 hours and a tow truck to get out! Of course he fell in the ditch from snow and ice.
I like when he got out and scratched his head though that was funny.
