Hawaii 2010

Get ready. Here comes the dreaded…holiday photos!

We had a fabulous time in Hawaii. We did a lot, saw a lot, and even relaxed a lot.

Arriving at the hotel. This is R and J with our friend, T, on the left. We met T’s parents when we went to Belize last year.

This is at LuLu’s. This restaurant quickly became one of our favourites. Sitting here we had a fabulous view of the ocean and could feel the breeze come in through the “window”.

That was one of my favourite things about Hawaii. The open air buildings.

I loved watching the kids at play in the water.

One of the days we rented a car on drove around the island. It was lovely to get out of the city and explore.

One of the first places we stopped on our drive was the Dole Plantation where they grow…pineapples! This is Adrian and R on the train tour.

Pineapple crop. This totally made me think of Farm Town on Facebook!

This was on the north shore at a beach famous for sea turtle sightings.

Unfortunately, while everyone else continuely expressed excitement at seeing a turtle I wasn’t so lucky.

That’s it for now. I’ll add some more soon.
