Happy Mother’s Day!

We did something different from our norm this Mother’s Day. My friend, Jaime, invited us along on her team to do the Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run & Walk. It’s a fundraiser for Stollery Children’s Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department expansion. We did the 5 km walk.

This is near the beginning of the walk. You can see all of the people who participating winding around the road ahead. There were just over 2,000 people who did the run & walk this year.

There was a really lonnnnng hill in the middle. We were glad to see that behind us.

We had a great time. It was so nice to do something other than brunch this year. Maybe next year we’ll do the 5k run! Who knows?
