Fun Monday

Joy from a Spot of T is hosting Fun Monday this week. For those five people (out of my thirteen readers) who don’t know what Fun Monday is: Different people host it every week and come up with themes or assignments. Joy wants us to show our kitchens.

This is the first time I’m participating. AND I’m cheating. How is that for good beginnings? How am I cheating? These are old pictures. Ones that have already been posted on my blog. You see, my kitchen is a disaster zone at the moment. I did have a fleeting thought that it would make a more interesting picture, but then I came to my senses. So here is my kitchen – when it’s clean.

This is to the right of the sink.
This is to the right of the fruit bowl from the above photo.
This is just SOME of our homeschool stuff. This space can be very cluttered. That is a seedling tray on the left. And the red and white thing is a homemade card from our friends Paul & Robin to congratulate Adrian on his Canadian Citizenship.

These drawers are underneath that cluttery spot. I took this photo this morning and you may notice at the top how cluttery it really is! You can see a bit of the chairs in each shot. I LOVE these drawers. My dad made them to fit this spot specifically. Those are my children’s hand prints. In the drawers are all of our craft stuff. A drawer for scissors, a drawer fo paper, etc.

These are the chairs to the bar like counter. We argue over who sits in which chair a lot.

Our dining room table is actually around the corner from the kitchen, but this is where a lot of the action happens. You can see in the background those colourful drawers.

Like most people, we do a lot of different things in our kitchen.

We entertain…

We make Guy Fawkes dummies…

We bob for apples…

We play…

We do play dough…
We make crafts…
Decorate Easter Eggs…
We do science experiments…
Oh yeah. And we cook…

I hope you all have a wonderfully fun Monday!!

We are trying to learn how to live together again along with adjusting to the lower pay that came along with the job change.
