The children are learning about nouns at the moment. So, for a fun activity they wrote several nouns on slips of paper and labeled our home. We have couch, wall, window, bed, television, door, and picture notes to name a few. We even had mom notes.
They used the same colour of paper for all of the nouns. Then when they study adjectives we’ll do the same activity with different coloured paper. Eventually we’ll mix the papers up, and they can state “noun”, “adjective”, or “verb”, as they label or perform the activity (as in the case of of verbs) and they’ll have the coloured papers as visual clues.
This is cute and a great idea. 😀
Right now I feel like I have no head LOL
That is an awesome idea, I am sure it will be very successful.
GREAT idea! My kids would probably name….”mom’s fat old stomach”…..tee hee..
That’s a great, FUN idea! Cool!!
Fun way to learn!
Good stuff. Might as well make learning fun…
Looks like a good idea. I have to start thinking of those things myself here with Madison home now.
Good and funny way to learn!
A really great idea – just wish I was young again and then I could join in too 😦
